I'm a relative latecomer to Dwight Yoakam's oeuvre, so I decided to work through his catalogue while I still have my free Pandora premium subscription. (Another reason it pays to have a Starbucks gold card!) He has an astounding voice and a remarkable dedication to preserving that which makes country music country music. He's the one you need when you need sad, sad music.
Matthew W. Kingsbury has been a minister of Word and sacrament in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church since 1999. At present, he teaches 5th-grade English Language Arts at a charter school in Cincinnati, Ohio. He longs for the recovery of confessional and liturgical presbyterianism, the reunification of the Protestant Church, the restoration of the American Republic, and the salvation of the English language from the barbarian hordes.

Yes, indeed
Today's Pickles:
So do I:
There's gonna be a certain party at the station,
Satin and lace, I used to call "Funny Face."
She's gonna cry until I tell her that I'll never roam;
Chattanooga Choo Choo, won't you choo-choo me home?
